CHARACTERISTICS OF REVIVAL IN THE PSALMS

Psalm 51

   -Intense desire for cleansing from all sin

   -Requesting God to create a clean heart

   -Requesting God to create a right spirit within

   -Requesting God to restore the joy of salvation

   -Requesting God to uphold with a free (willing) spirit

   -Results: Transgressors taught God's ways

                

                  Sinners converted unto God

                  Singing and Praise to God

Psalm 63

   -Intense seeking the Lord

   -Intense thirsting for the Lord

   -Intense longing for the Lord

   -Intense desire to see the Lord's power and glory as in the past

   -Results: Praising/Blessing/Lifted up hands in exaltation of the Lord/Rejoicing/Satisfaction

Psalm 80

   -Presence of God is evident

   -No Backsliding

   -Communion with God

Psalm 85

   -Forgiveness of Iniquity

   -Covering of Sin

   -Wrath of God taken away

   -Attentiveness to the Voice of God

   -Fear of the Lord

   -Glory of the Lord dwells in the land

   -Mercy and Truth abundant

   -Saints are set in His steps (Full and complete obedience)
