  I. A Portrait of Past Revival (v.1-3)

A.      Thou has been favorable

B.      Thou has brought back the captivity of Israel

C.      Thou has forgiven the iniquity of Thy people

D.      Thou has covered all their sin

E.       Thou has taken away all Thy wrath

F.       Thou has turned Thyself from the fierceness of Thy anger

 II. A Plea for Present Revival (v.4-7)

A.      Turn us O God of our salvation

B.      Cause Thine anger toward us to cease

C.      Will Thou be angry with us forever?

D.      Will Thou draw out Thine anger to all generations?

E.       Will Thou not revive us again: That Thy people may rejoice in Thee?

F.       Show us Thy mercy O Lord, and grant us Thy salvation

III. A Picture of Future Revival (v.8-13)

A.      I will hear what God the Lord will speak

B.      For He will speak peace unto His people…

C.      Let them not turn again to folly

D.      Surely His salvation is nigh them that fear Him that glory may dwell in our land

E.       Mercy and truth are met together

F.       Righteousness and peace have kissed each other

G.      Truth shall spring out of the earth

H.      And righteousness shall look down from heaven

I.        Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good and our land shall yield her increase

J.        Righteousness shall go before Him, and shall set us in the way of His steps (Walking with the King and being a blessing!)
